Today’s Cup of Tea: While I have had several cups of tea today, I wanted to focus on the americano I picked up from the coffee shop down the road this morning. I love espresso drinks, but sadly, I cannot justify the cost of a daily cup from a local shop.

An Evening in Naxos (2021) /
Today’s Cup of Tea: Doctor Goodwin from Olipop. I’m not the biggest fan of soda—it’s just to sweet, which is one reason I love Olipop! And I’m not sure how to describe this flavor, but I really like it. According to the can it’s “a head-on collision of all-natural ingredients like rich plums, sweet prunes, and zesty tart cherries.” Would I ever admit to liking a prune-type soda? Nope. But I actually really like this one!
Soaking up the colors of a vibrant sunset is one of my favorite things to do, especially in Greece. I love everything about the island of Naxos! I have so many photos to share, but I will start with shots from our last night there. On Naxos, people walk out to the Temple of Apollo (Portara) to soak up the sunset each evening. Locals and tourists sit out on the edge of the shore, watching the sun sink below the sea; while we were there everyone was quiet until the sun disappeared, sending off the light with a round of applause.
I can’t wait to go back.

(and for an extra travel tidbit—this is the best pizza I think I’ve ever had!)
Newport /
Today’s Cup of Tea: Swapped out today’s cup of tea with a cup of Reserva del 1973 coffee from Boston Stoker. I use an AreoPress here at home, and today’s cup was quite near perfect for a day of sorting and editing photos! Grab a cup of coffee for yourself and join me in a walk down the beach in Newport, California, on an overcast November morning.
